Mr. Durnell prepares your child for success!
IntroductionWelcome to our school, where educational and social development go hand in hand. Our tailored focus on academics and the whole child means that every child will find a happy home here. Our SchoolHarrison Hill Elementary School is named for the neighborhood in which it resides. The school was built in 1924, and for many years, students in kindergarten through ninth grade attended class in the building. From 1964-1971, the building housed the elementary school and Harrison Hill Junior High. Harrison Hill is a Title I school and offers the English Language Learners program for students still learning English. All students follow a dress code of khaki or navy pants or skirts and navy blue or white shirts. Harrison Hill students feed into Miami Middle School and South Side High School. The school is located in the Board of School Trustees District 5. |
